It took me some time to get around this album but now I can say without a doubt that “Ascencandy” is a true raw gem mixing rough and heavy sounds with tight rhythm sections topped with amazing vocals. Based in Paris, it is the first full length album of the band and they have done a great job at pushing djent/tech metal to another level. 4/5 ★

Virgil & Steve Howe – Nexus

The very diverse and extense musical expertise of both musicians, and that connection only father and son can have, can be felt through all the songs. The result is this beautiful album. Very different to what you could expect, not progressive rock, but with a lot of elements from it, and a varied array of styles. A legacy and a family effort from start to finish. 3/5★
