Sylvan – Live in Hamburg 09 Dec 2023

Sylvan almost every year organizes their traditional Christmas Show 'at home' at the Knust concert venue in downtown Hamburg, which has truly become their home base. These shows are always filled with family, friends, and devoted fans, with people coming from near and far. In this intimate setting, the band delivered a charismatic and nearly flawless performance, as is typical of their shows. Being behind the lens, we could fully appreciate the camaraderie and positive vibes radiating from all the band members, who have been playing together for decades and are like a true family. That energy flowed seamlessly between the band and the audience, leaving us with big smiles on our faces as the intro to the second encore began. It was none other than, in my opinion, Sylvan's best: 'Artificial Paradise,' performed in all its 20-plus minutes of glorious progressive goodness!

Co-Founder of The Progspace. Coming from a musical family, and long time Prog and Metal lover. One of my passions is Photography and Web Design (16+ years career path), sharing this passion and creativity as a bag designer and maker. I like all things Prog, and listen a wide variety of styles within the "Progniverse", but what I enjoy the most are the creativity and "out-of-the-box" approach musicians can offer their listeners. I consider that to be truly Prog!
