After many years The Odious are back with their weird flavor of progressive metal, pulling all the stops with “Vesica Piscis”. This album is an unabashed show of contrasts. Restraint vs. self-indulgence, melody vs. dissonance, aggressive vs. soothing, modern vs. classic, and everything happening at once throughout the whole 50 minutes. A definite must listen and a great comeback from the Portland guys.
