Final band confirmed for ProgPower Europe 2023: Earthside!
Earthside made a large impression when they released their first and so far only album “A Dream in Static” in 2015. Their blend of metal, progressive soundscapes and cinematic elements, paired with an exquisit selection of guest vocalists (Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust, Björn Strid of Soilwork and Daniel Tompkins of Tesseract) was celebrated by music media and fans alike, and didn’t prevent them from touring with an excellent live show!
The band fell silent for several years but continued working in the background on new material -which resulted in the release of the epic single “All We Knew And Ever Loved”, recorded with Orchestra and featuring a drum duel of the band’s Ben Shanbrom and Baard Kolstad from Leprous. As many of their songs, “All We Knew And Ever Loved” works even better with the video:
As recently announced on social media, the band has (finally) finished their second album for which a release date has not yet been announced. But surely, we will enjoy tracks from that new album at ProgPower Europe 2023.
