Hackberry live at ProgPower Europe 2023
Hackberry was a very pleasant surprise for most of the ProgPower Europe visitors. When the Dutch band was announced, many of us had never heard of them before. When the band stepped on stage to open the traditional spot reserved for Dutch bands (opener on the Saturday), many of us were impressed by the sheer quality of their instrumental post-progressive metal. Their mix was very interesting, and we must give hats off to the organizers for making the right decision to bring a primarily post-rock band as the opener, despite being a daring choice, Hackberry as the opener on Sunday early afternoon was a success.
