No Terror In The Bang show at ProgPower Europe 2024

No Terror In The Bang show at ProgPower Europe 2024

Next was the turn for the French band No Terror in the Bang, with many in the audience having zero expectations - same as we were, after the first few chords, we all were completely blown away! The band's performance was a whirlwind of energy and emotion, seamlessly blending cinematic metal with intense progressive elements. The band’s dynamic range and powerful stage presence had the audience hooked from the very beginning.

Drawing from their albums "Heal"and "Eclosion", they delivered a gripping set with standouts like 'Uncanny' and 'Monster' that showcased their ability to shift effortlessly between delicate atmospheric moments and fierce, unrelenting outbursts. The vocalist’s range was particularly striking, moving between haunting melodies and intense growls with precision, emotional and visual impact.

The crowd clearly fed off their passion, and by the end of the set, it was obvious that No Terror in the Bang had gained a lot of new fans, us included. A truly unforgettable performance and one of the festival’s biggest surprises.

I consider that to be truly Prog!
