The 12th band to play at ProgPower Europe 2023 is Dordeduh
Dordeduh is the 12th band to play at ProgPower Europe 2023! The Romanian band mix elements of different genres as diverse as dark folk, black metal, electronic, gothic, rock, psychedelic, prog, and even pop in the masterfully crafted album “Har”. With that introduction, we’re sure this is a band that will surprise many!
The band name combines the word ‘Dor’ (the yearning for something; the lack of something) with the term for spirit ‘Duh’ – according to the musicians, this amalgamation represents the struggle to express those meaningful values that make us human by uniting the soul and the spirit.
Guitarists and founders Edmond “Hupogrammos” Karban and Sol Faur aka Cristian Popescu formed Dordeduh in 2009 after leaving Negură Bunget delighting critics and fans alike with the EP “Valea omului” (2010) and debut full-length “Dar de duh” (2012).

Hupogrammos : Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards, Hammered Dulcimer, Mandola, Toacă, Tulnic, Percussion
Andrei Jumugă: Drums
