Earthside opening ProgPower Europe 2023

Earthside was due to play at ProgPower Europe some years ago, but for reasons I can't recall now, they had to cancel their show. Many festival regulars were very disappointed then, but finally in 2023, we all got to see them live in Baarlo. The band had the chance to redeem themselves by offering an amazing show that left regulars and first-time visitors mostly happy. They proved that despite being a primarily instrumental band, they could indeed deliver a gigantic show even with their guest vocalists shown only on screen and voices via backing tracks. This, of course, brought a lot of controversy before and after the show. Some were okay with it and very happy with the performance, while others were not as pleased about the absence of vocalists on stage. We are neutral about this; for us, the show was phenomenal and we enjoyed it a lot, as we hope our photos show!
