PROGPOWER EUROPE 25th Anniversary! First band announced!

Nospūn, a progressive metal band from North Carolina, is the first band announced for ProgPower Europe’s 25th anniversary. Known for their virtuosic musicianship, sophisticated songwriting, and deep lyrics, their sound draws comparisons to progressive metal greats like Dream Theater and Symphony X. Although they only formed in 2023, the members of Nospūn each bring over a decade of experience in writing, recording, and performing. Their debut album, Opus, a self-produced concept record mixed by bassist Cole Millward, highlights their technical skill and creative vision, quickly establishing them as a rising force in the progressive metal scene.

Check what our staff of reviewers had to say about their debut album Opus, featured several times among the best of the year on The Progspace Editors list 2023!

At The Progspace, we’re proud to be media partners for the festival and excited to introduce Nospūn as the first band on the lineup!

I consider that to be truly Prog!
