Omnerod is the 9th band to play at ProgPower Europe 2023!

The Progspace and ProgPower Europe proudly welcome Omnerod to the lineup for ProgPower Europe 2023!

The belgian quartet started in 2009, releasing 2 albums “Ivory Dunes” (2014) and “Arteries” (2019) and most recently the EP “Construction” (2021) cementing their way into their own modern rendition of progressive melodic death metal forging their own unique sound.

Influenced by classic and modern progressive acts as well as inspiring sources from various other genres, Omnerod crafts richly layered and intricate songs that flow from beautiful melodies to roaring aggression. Always thriving to explore fresh musical grounds, the band is now finishing touches on a third full-length album “The Amensal Rise”, in their own words a ’70-minute behemoth – marking the beginning of a new era for the band’ hinting at showcasimg new artistic directions.

I like all things Prog, and listen a wide variety of styles within the "Progniverse", but what I enjoy the most are the creativity and "out-of-the-box" approach musicians can offer their listeners. I consider that to be truly Prog!
