Prog Metal Mania Festival announced the first bands!
May 2025 will see the debut of Prog Metal Mania Festival in Munich (Ger), powered by Mostly Metal and proudly presented by The Progspace.
This festival is shaping up to be a must-attend for progressive metal fans, with a line-up of 12 bands and a special guest. In the lead-up to the event, the festival is running a fun “guess the band” series on its social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – now X), where participants can win festival shirts. The first bands confirmed are:
OBSIDIOUS – Having caught the Extreme Metal scene by storm with their mighty debut in 2022, the international powerhouse is set to blow the roof off at Prog Metal Mania 2025!
VULKAN – The Swedish band joins us with their mesmerizing melodies and intriguing rhythms. Welcome to immerse yourself in their incredibly atmospheric soundscapes!
SOULSPLITTER – Following their combined musical vision, the German arts collective melts various stylistical splitters to a soulful, new whole. Become part of something magical!
The festival will be held on 2nd and 3rd of May 2025 at Backstage (Werk) in Munich. We at The Progspace are excited to support this new festival and encourage all prog metal fans to save the date and to grab your tickets here!
