ALMO premieres Winterhound from upcoming debut Reconciliation

Swedish modern prog metal solo artist ALMO (Benjamin Almö Thorsell) returns half a year after his standalone debut single ‘Nu n​ä​r v​å​r tid st​å​r still’ to tease his upcoming debut full length “Reconciliation”, due in exactly one month on March 15th, with a playthrough video of his brand new single ‘Winterhound’.

Benjamin told us about the song:

I’ve been working hard on this album for a long time and I’m so happy and proud to finally be able to present this first single from it. The album as a whole is a very personal journey about self-acceptance, making peace with the past and things in life and moving on and evolving as a person. The lyrics of this song in particular are pretty esoteric, but the theme is mainly about the feeling of  “if I just get this one more thing in my life everything will be fine” and chasing a goalpost that’s continuously moving further away. It’s one of the more “riffy” songs on the album and is a blend of dark and heavy parts along with catchy melodies.
