Antimatter – live at Ino-Rock 2024

Antimatter, led by Mick Moss, delivered a powerful and atmospheric set at Ino-Rock Festival, leaving a deep impression on the audience. Known for their melancholic rock fused with dark ambient and progressive elements, Antimatter's music is emotionally charged and introspective, creating a unique and immersive experience. The set opened with "Another Face in a Window," establishing a melancholic tone that was supported by Fabian Regmann's precise drumming and Stephen Harold Hughes' deep basslines. Their solid rhythm section laid the foundation for the band's rich sound, while Moss' tender yet powerful vocals added emotional depth to the performance.

The set featured tracks like "Stillborn Empires," "Partners in Crime," and "Black Eyed Man," which further explored themes of struggle and isolation. A standout moment was the hypnotic performance of "The Third Arm" from Black Market Enlightenment, with its exploration of alienation and control enhanced by a dramatic musical buildup. "Heathen" from A Profusion of Thought showcased the band’s darker, heavier side, with intense guitar riffs and a brooding atmosphere. The show concluded with "No Contact," bringing the performance to a fittingly powerful close. Antimatter once again proved their ability to craft profound, emotionally resonant musical experiences that linger long after the final note.
