Atomic Guava premieres the new EP “Beach Episode”
Boston based creative outfit Atomic Guava presents their new EP “Beach Episode” on exclusive premiere here at The Progspace!
Atomic Guava is a progressive metal band that combines technical djent, math metal, and complex compositions with a playful and unpredictable style. On their debut album “Peasants of the Future” (2022) they showcased a masterful blend of energetic riffs, intricate time signatures, and diverse influences, while delivering technically impressive music and maintaining a lighthearted tone. The band is now back in full force with a 16-minute EP, featuring new songs that shine with their complex compositions, seasoned with eclectic influences and unpredictable moments. Tech djent, math, growls, and sax? Yes! They went all in!
We wrote Beach Episode in 4 days. This EP is an intentional moment for us to step back and just enjoy the music that flows out of us without any expectations. This project has always been about pushing each other and our capabilities, and of course these songs come backed by that drive, but this was more about letting what comes naturally to each of us individually shine and celebrating that as an outfit.
