Leprous Live at Backstage Munich, November 09, 2025

On November 09, 2025, Norwegian Progsters (or should I say Progstars) Leprous finally returned to Munich, 2 1/2 years after their last visit, this time on the first leg of their Melodies of Atonement European Tour. Their triumphant set included highlights from their latest masterpiece, "Melodies of Atonement", as well as their most recent cover of fellow Norwegians A-Ha's world hit 'Take On Me' and choice cuts from throughout their career. Anyone who's been following them for some time will be aware that they are always have a big pool of songs prepared for a unique setlist in each city. This one left out 'Bilateral' and 'Coal' sadly, but four songs from "Pitfalls" and the closing quadruple 'Passing'/'Slave'/'Castaway Angels'/'From the Flame' made more than up for it. Not to mention the Encore with 'Atonement' leading into the devastating finale of 'The Sky Is Red'.

About the Author

Dario

Co-Founder of The Progspace - Dario discovered the world of Prog upon hearing "Shine on you crazy diamond" for the first time at the tender age of 12 around the turn of the millennium. Coming from a musical family and brought up with classical music, this seemed to be the logical next step. Attended the school of www.progulus.com from 2002, delving into both directions: catching up with the history of already more than 30 years of progressive music as well as always staying up to date with the newest prog sounds. He loves meeting like-minded people and enjoying live music at a concert somewhere in Europe.

Robin

Robin was born into a family of music lovers, there was music always and everywhere... He was put to sleep to prog classic gems like Genesis, Pink Floyd and Rush as a toddler and continued from there as a child. Kickstarting his fire for proggy tones was the masterpiece "Awake" from Dream Theater that his dad carried home once as he was a teen. Fast forwarding to 2016, Robin attended his first ProgPower Europe festival and his love for photography got fueled by meeting Matt and Van there, so he happily accepted the offer to join The Progspace as a photographer for their concert reviews. Robin says: "I am happy to combine my two biggest passions here, Music and Photography, as a concert photographer for The Progspace.“
