Łysa Góra – live at Ino-Rock 2024
Łysa Góra kicked off the second day of Ino-Rock Festival with an energetic performance under the blazing sun, blending folk, rock, and heavy metal into a vibrant "folk soul" sound deeply rooted in Slavic culture. Their lyrics, drawing from Polish countryside traditions and neighboring cultures, created a powerful cultural connection. Previously fronted by Dorota Filipczak-Brzychcy and violinist Sylwia Biernat, the band introduced new members Karolina Sienkiewicz on violin and Klaudia Fedyryszyn on cello, both of whom seamlessly integrated into the band's dynamic, enriching their musical tapestry.
Backed by Piotr Kocimski’s powerful guitar, Krystian Jędrzejczyk’s drums, and Paweł Piotrowicz’s bass, Łysa Góra delivered a captivating set centered on their latest album W Ogniu Świat (The World in Flames). Opening with the haunting "Oj Dolo" (Oh, Fate) and closing with the lively "Wino Porzeczkowe" (Currant Wine), the band’s blend of intense vocals, electric guitars, and rich string arrangements highlighted their ability to fuse tradition with a modern, high-energy sound. Their performance left a lasting impression, reaffirming their unique place in the folk-rock scene.
