Moon Safari's performance at the We Låve Rock festival highlighted the band's melodic and symphonic flair, with their intricate harmonies and uplifting melodies shining throughout the set. Their latest album, Himlabacken Vol. 2 (2023), was central to the show, offering a blend of their signature vocal harmonies with a slightly darker edge, reflecting the band’s evolution after a decade-long break. Tracks like '198X (Heaven Hill)' and 'Between the Devil and Me' were well received by the audience, displaying the band's balance of catchy yet complex songwriting. Even though their sound isn't necessarily my preferred style, it was clear from the audience's enthusiasm that Moon Safari’s return was a highly celebrated moment for many.
