Sadist second Saturday Headliner at ProgPower Europe 2024

Sadist second Saturday Headliner at ProgPower Europe 2024

Italian veterans Sadist closed Saturday’s lineup with a commanding performance of technical prowess and progressive death metal, blending growls, intricate rhythms, and a dash of humor. Their complex compositions and intense energy clearly demonstrated why they earned their spot as one of the night’s headliners.

Throughout the entire show, guitarist and keyboardist Tommy Talamanca wowed the crowd by shredding on both instruments simultaneously, showcasing remarkable skill and adding a unique dimension to their performance. Whether some found it impressive or a bit over the top, it was clear the audience went wild for it.

Their style, rich in technicality and intensity, was the cherry on the top for fans of progressive death metal. Sadist’s passion and precision made for a perfect closing act that left the audience energized and eager for more.

I consider that to be truly Prog!
