IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION to unleash progressive super metal at ProgStorm Festival 2025

Imminent Sonic Destruction (ISD) will bring their explosive brand of Progressive Super Metal to ProgStorm Festival 2025 on Sunday, August 10, at Le Ministère in Montreal. Hailing from Detroit, ISD blends crushing riffs with melodic ingenuity, earning them the label “everything-but-the-kitchen-sink metal” from Angry Metal Guy. Their influences span from Pantera and Dream Theater to Meshuggah and Genesis, showcasing their versatility and innovation within the progressive metal scene. With a career that includes tours alongside Pain of Salvation, Kingcrow, Fates Warning, and Circus Maximus, ISD has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, unforgettable performances.

Following the acclaimed “The Sun Will Always Set“, the band is set to release their fourth album in 2025, promising to push their creative boundaries even further. Guitarist and vocalist Tony Piccoli shares the band’s excitement:

“We are so, so excited to be a part of the inaugural ProgStorm Festival! Montreal has been outstanding for us in the past, and we cannot wait to get back. We are hungry, driven, and excited to show Montreal and the rest of the prog-metal community what we’ve been up to.”

Fans can expect a powerful and dynamic show as ISD returns to a city that has long embraced their music.  Tickets are on sale now—secure yours before they’re gone!

I consider that to be truly Prog!
