This week on the Progtalks, Uncle Prog is visited by keyboard maestro David Van Pelt from Australian atmospheric and symphonic prog-rock band Acolyte. Naturally, we discuss their new album “Entropy” which was recently released to great acclaim by both fans and reviewers. We go into their writing process, and the quite serious themes explored on the album, as well as the bands’ history and future goals. David also explains his fondness of Europes’ “The Final Countdown” and gives us a tour through some favourites from his impressive collection of vintage synthesizers, many of which you can hear in use on “Entropy”.
