Where Stars Collide premiere video for Freedom
Italian progressive metallers Where Stars Collide are releasing a series of singles in preparation for their first full-length album. Today, we here at The Progspace are happy to premiere the video for the first of these songs, ‘Freedom’.
Where Stars Collide was formed in 2015, and after some lineup changes, released their first EP, “Monolith”. Moving from chaotic screams to mellow singing, from metal to prog, and from brutality to catchy melodies, they combine all their diverse influences to create a strong personality. Where Stars Collide has shared the stage with bands such as Loathe, Novelists FR, Shokran, Landmvrks and Dreamshade.
About ‘Freedom’, the first single of their upcoming album, the band says:
The song speaks about the insecurity inside us; a dark side that whispers in our ears and eats us from inside our soul, many thoughts and events that came back into our minds to blind us. ‘Freedom’ speaks about this journey, broken and complicated. But it is a road that indicates a direction to follow, and we are the only ones who can decide if we want to go ahead or stop and never move.
