Enma live at ProgPower Europe 2024

Enma live at ProgPower Europe 2024

Saturday kicked off traditionally featuring a Dutch band, and this year it was Tilburg's own Enma opening the long day. Their set was a high-energy blend of progressive metal infused with grunge grooves and 70s rock vibes. The vocalist, donning a Led Zeppelin shirt, bore a striking resemblance to a young Robert Plant, not just in appearance but in a very electric stage presence as well.

Their performance included tracks from their 2022 debut album, "Apathy Awakened", as well as their latest single, 'Obsidian', released just ahead of the festival. The band's dynamic range, shifting from melancholic melodies to fierce outbursts, kept the audience engaged throughout. The crowd responded enthusiastically, making it clear that Enma's fusion of styles resonated well. A strong start to the day's lineup!

I consider that to be truly Prog!
