Chronochromie joins ProgStorm Festival 2026!
Montreal based Chronochromie to the ProgStorm Festival 2026 lineup. Formed in 2022, the math progressive metal project is led by composer, vocalist, and guitarist Alexandre David alongside drummer and visual artist Samuel David. Drawing from contemporary classical and experimental composition, Chronochromie bridges complex musical structures with the physical intensity of extreme metal.
The project is defined by non cyclic forms, intricate rhythmic language, and dense textural writing. After introducing its universe with the EP “Epoch” in 2023, Chronochromie expanded its artistic scope through a series of 2025 releases that brought vocals and cinematic elements further to the forefront. With a sound that sits between technical metal, progressive rock, and modern classical composition, Chronochromie has quickly emerged as one of the most forward thinking projects in Montreal’s progressive scene.
