Heaven’s Cry will return to the stage at the ProgStorm Festival 2026 edition!
The festival has announced another important addition to the ProgStorm Festival 2026 lineup! We’re extremely happy to share that Heaven’s Cry will return to the stage in Montreal. A key force in shaping Canada’s modern progressive scene, the band quickly stood out in the 90’s with their distinctive dual vocal approach and a sound that bridged progressive rock and metal cementing their name on the worldwide progressive rock and metal scene. Their debut “Food for Thought Substitute“, first released in Japan, gained early international recognition, followed by “Primal Power Addiction“, which brought them to major progressive stages in Europe and North America, like ProgPower Europe (2002, 2012) and ProgPower USA (2013) .
After a long hiatus, Heaven’s Cry returned with with the highly acclaimed “Wheels of Impermanence” and the conceptual album “Outcast“, exploring themes of resilience, transformation and the human condition. Now, after several years away from live performances, the band is ready to step back into the spotlight. Seeing Heaven’s Cry return at ProgStorm Festival 2026 is a major step for the Canadian band, festival and scene!
