Ckraft - Epic Discordant Vision

Gregorian jazz metal? Not only with a saxophone, but also with an accordion? Yes! Spearheaded by accordionist Charles Kieny, French quintet Ckraft are about to mess up the instrumental prog metal scene for good with their aptly titled debut album “Epic Discordant Vision”. If you missed the exclusive premiere of title track about a month ago, you can still check it out right here! Did you miss our Progtalks interview with mastermind Charles Kieny? This way please! Or else, why don’t you choose one of the links below to listen to some more “Epic Discordant Vision”? Highly recommended to do either of the three right away. What they have Ckrafted is something special indeed! Dario
The Aristocrats With Primuz Chamber Orchestra

The Aristocrats need no introduction. The distinguished gentlemen and masters of their respective craft Guthrie Govan, Bryan Beller and Marco Minnemann are definitely regarded as some of the most accomplished players around these days and the music they play when they get together is just positively bonkers. Now add to that the epic sounds of an entire chamber orchestra, the polish Primuz Chamber Orchestra to be precise, and you get one of the best instrumental albums of the year so far, and perhaps the best The Aristocrats album to date. Read Bob’s full review right here and/or head over to Bandcamp to order your copy right away! Oh and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the next Progtalks episode with drumming legend Marco Minnemann next Wednesday! Dario
