PreHistoric Animals return to ProgPower Europe for the 2026 edition!

Sweden’s PreHistoric Animals is returning to ProgPower Europe in 2026, and this one already feels like a smashing highlight! The band made their festival debut back in 2019, where their performance quickly turned heads and won over the crowd in a big way, establishing them as one of the most exciting rising acts on the scene. Now, they’re back and surely expect another unforgettable show.

Blending classic progressive rock, alternative influences, and a strong melodic core, PreHistoric Animals have carved out a distinctive sound that balances complexity with accessibility. Formed by Stefan Altzar and Samuel Granath, the band evolved from a studio project into a full live lineup, earning critical acclaim for releases like The Magical Mystery Machine and their latest album Finding Love in Strange Places, praised for its storytelling, groove, and atmospheric depth

I consider that to be truly Prog!
