A Kew’s Tag at the Pre-Party for ProgPower Europe 2024!

We're super stoked and proud to announce that the extremely talented German trio A Kew's Tag will be playing at the PreParty for ProgPower Europe 2024! We're beyond delighted to present this event for all those who arrive on Thursday at Kasteel De Berckt, at the Chapel as always. An evening of warm encounters crowned with the amazing music of the massively talented A Kew's Tag, an acoustic trio playing progmetal with hints of technical death? Yes please!

The band formed in 2011 releasing their first album "Double-Check When You Leave" (2012) one year later. Their second album "Silence of the Sirens" (2015) gained them positive reviews, but their breakthrough came in 2021 with the release of their incredible concept album "Hephioz," a dramatic story framed by captivating and intrinsically progressive metal produced mainly with acoustic guitars, drums, and vocals (with some guest instruments). Their sound is as awesome as it is unique. The band members, brothers Johannes (guitars) and Florian Weik (drums), and vocalist Julian Helms, live in different cities in Germany, and their different occupations make it difficult for them to perform live more often, making this show a unique opportunity to see them live!

As we can testify, their sound is incredible live! We had the honor of having them at our Online Festival 3rd edition, and it was personally one of the best performances in all our three festivals. It's simply amazing what they can do with just one acoustic guitar, drums, and vocals!
