UK Progmetal band Black Orchid Empire premiere their mighty, new track ‘Blood God’

UK Progmetal band Black Orchid Empire create huge, memorable music that combines heavy-hitting savagery with intense melodic beauty. Their technical, fearlessly complex grooves and gigantic sing-along choruses have already earned them a widespread fanbase.

Following on from album releases with Long Branch Records and Season Of Mist, the band now signed with Year Of The Rat Records and give a first impression of what is yet to come with their mighty, new track, ‘Blood God’.

The new songs are inspired by mythology – some of the cornerstones of human culture and fictional experience. ‘Blood God’ is written from the perspective of someone completely on the thrall of a powerful, demonic Vampire. We all love gothic horror and the backdrop it creates for this track is a really fun place to explore – it really lends itself to some crushing riffs and epic choruses!
