US Progmetal pioneers Cea Serin premiere stunning, new track ‘Where None Shall Follow’
After having re-signed with Generation Prog Records, US Progmetal act Cea Serin are ready to share their stunning, new track ‘Where None Shall Follow’. It is taken from their upcoming album “The World Outside”, which is set to release on September 12th.
” ‘Where None Shall Follow’ is a song about the individual’s struggle to break free from the well-worn path to make their own way. Despite derisive naysayers and skeptics, some of the greatest things we’ve ever known have been forged by the radical individual. The world has always tried to silence those who dare to be different, to pull them back into the safety of the collective. But progress was never made by those who followed without question. It was made by the dreamers, the rebels, the ones who refused to walk a path already paved. They were told they were wrong—but without them, nothing would change. Individualism is not easy. It’s a struggle, a battle against conformity. But for those who have the courage to stand alone, to push forward despite the voices telling them to stop—that is where greatness is born.”

The new album features six songs delivering the full Progressive Metal package, with every song breaking the 10-minute barrier, and showcasing a considerable range of styles with elaborate build-ups and dramatic shifts. Aggressive verses with harsh vocals give way to majestic choruses, carried by Jay Lamm‘s powerful and versatile voice. Lamm has composed the music and lyrics for the entire album and also recorded all the rhythm guitars, fretted and fretless basses, and keyboards, with longtime bandmate Rory Faciane contributing drums and percussion.
They are joined by many talented guests: Andy Gillion (solo and ex-Mors Principium Est), Dann Hoyos (Rise to Fall), Vick LeCar (solo artist), Steve Blaze (Lillian Axe), Steffi Cannelli (Cirque du Soleil), João Miguel (solo artist, Enblood, Adamantine), Manuel Acevedo (SAUDA), Cecillia Cuccolini, and Coen Strouken (Circus of Fools, Eluveitie).
