Prog Metal Mania announced the second triple of bands

Prog Metal Mania Festival will make its debut in Munich, Germany, in May 2025, and is quickly becoming a must-attend event for fans of pogressive and metal music. Leading up to the festival, the organizers are hosting a fun “guess the band” series on their social media channels (FacebookInstagram and Twitter – now X), where participants have the chance to win Prog Metal Mania shirts (find more information about how to join here). The full line-up will be unveiled on September 8th.

Following last week’s announcements of Obsidious, Vulkan, and Soulsplitter, the festival has now revealed the next three bands:

SCAR SYMMETRY – With legendary guitar wizard Per Nilsson as driving force, they perfectly blend mind blowing riffs with virtuoso soloing, build up on mighty synth layers and complex yet groovy rhythms, and put a vigorous dual vocal attack on top. Here’s your chance to catch them live in Munich!

TURBULENCE – The Lebanese masters of musical story-telling even make a robot dream with their mesmerizing soundscapes and virtuosic playing, inviting the listener on a captivating, emotional journey.

AEONS – Hailing from the Isle of Man, the Progmetal powerhouse will take the audience from ancient Greece to the vast reaches of space with their mighty, musical tales. Are you ready to cross the Rubicon?

Prog Metal Mania will take place on 2nd and 3rd of May 2025 at Backstage (Werk) in Munich. We at The Progspace are excited to support this new festival and encourage all Prog Metal fans to save the date and to grab your tickets here!

Stay tuned for more “Guess the Band” posts!
