Omnivide to bring progressive death metal fury to ProgStorm Festival

Omnivide to bring progressive death metal fury to ProgStorm Festival

ProgStorm Festival 2025 will host progressive death metal act Omnivide on Saturday, August 9, at Le Ministère in Montreal. Known for their dynamic blend of progressive, death, melodic, and symphonic metal, the band promises an unforgettable performance.

Formed in 2020, Omnivide quickly gained recognition with their debut album “A Tale of Fire” (2024), earning praise for their “complex, brutal, and brilliant” sound, while we at The Progspace also highlighted the album’s genre-blending nature. The band received 2024 Music NB Award nominations for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Song of the Year, solidifying their place in the progressive metal scene. Guitarist and vocalist, Samuel Frenette comments:

“Canada was in dire need of a festival that promotes progressive metal, and the team at ProgStorm are absolutely delivering on that premise. We can’t wait to share the stage with the other bands and give you the best performance we can – who knows, we might even play some songs from our upcoming EP”

I consider that to be truly Prog!
