VOIDCHASER to open the first ProgStorm Festival on Friday, August 8. 2025 in Montreal

Voidchaser will have the honor to open the first ProgStorm Festival 2025 on Friday, August 8, at Le Ministère, Montreal! The first Progressive Metal festival in Canada! A rising force in progressive metal, Voidchaser bridges Montreal and Stockholm, crafting a sound that blends technical mastery, emotional depth, and cinematic storytelling.

Since their formation in 2023, the band has gained international recognition with their debut LP Solace (2024), which topped metal charts across multiple countries. Following two successful Canadian tours and an upcoming slot at ProgPower Europe 2025, Voidchaser continues to make waves. Their latest EP, Trust, features collaborations with Jim Grey (Caligula’s Horse) and members of The Anchoret and Universe Effects.

Captain Chad (Bernatchez), Voidchaser’s lead vocals and guitars commented,

We are super happy to have the opportunity to perform at the very first ProgStorm show. It feels like we are making history, and we cannot wait to see you this summer!

One of my passions is Photography and Web Design (16+ years career path), sharing this passion and creativity as a bag designer and maker. I like all things Prog, and listen a wide variety of styles within the "Progniverse", but what I enjoy the most are the creativity and "out-of-the-box" approach musicians can offer their listeners. I consider that to be truly Prog!
