Pure Reason Revolution joins ProgStorm Festival 2026!

As media partners, we are pleased to present the announcement of Pure Reason Revolution as the Sunday headliner for ProgStorm Festival 2026 in Montreal. Formed in the UK in 2003, the band is built around the creative partnership of Jon Courtney and Chloë Alper, and is known for its blend of progressive rock, alternative influences, and electronic textures, shaped by layered vocal harmonies and dynamic songwriting.

Pure Reason Revolution has released a series of acclaimed albums on labels such as Sony BMG, Superball Music, and InsideOut Music, with “Coming Up To Consciousness” in 2024 marking the latest chapter in a catalog that also includes “The Dark Third“, “Eupnea“, and “Above Cirrus“. With a long standing international live presence, Pure Reason Revolution has shared the bill with artists such as Porcupine Tree, Mew, Oceansize among many others, and continues to appear at major progressive festivals across Europe, including ProgPower Europe. Recent announcements alongside Leprous, Green Carnation and Gazpacho further underline their unique place within the modern progressive rock landscape.

Co-Founder of The Progspace. Coming from a musical family, and long time Prog and Metal lover. One of my passions is Photography and Web Design (16+ years career path), sharing this passion and creativity as a bag designer and maker. I like all things Prog, and listen a wide variety of styles within the "Progniverse", but what I enjoy the most are the creativity and "out-of-the-box" approach musicians can offer their listeners. I consider that to be truly Prog!
