Seventh Station present new video for Faust Cantata

Seventh Station present a new video for “Faust Cantata”, their take on Alfred Schnittke’s haunting work. Built like a cinematic ritual, the clip moves through classical dissonance, shadowed imagery, and a sense of spiritual collapse. Part tribute to horror, part nod to the underground metal ethos, it reshapes those influences through modern progressive music. Taken from “On Shoulders of Giants”, the video captures the band at their most uncompromising.

Frontman of the band Vidi Dolev Says:

“This one had been in the works for a while, we tried to think what Schnittke, the composer we all love, would do, if he had a camera and an underground pool from the ottoman empire era, we hope he would approve, this is our most “Metal” tribute to a none metal artist – we hope you’ll like it”

The song , made by this multi-national and multi-faith prog entity, having members from Turkey, Israel and Slovenia is sung in German, the video was made between Slovenia and Israel.

Seventh Station will gather from all across the world for selected European dates this end of January in Slovenia and Germany, celebrating the new video and their latest album “On Shoulders Of Giants”.

Dario

Co-Founder of The Progspace - Dario discovered the world of Prog upon hearing "Shine on you crazy diamond" for the first time at the tender age of 12 around the turn of the millennium. Coming from a musical family and brought up with classical music, this seemed to be the logical next step. Attended the school of www.progulus.com from 2002, delving into both directions: catching up with the history of already more than 30 years of progressive music as well as always staying up to date with the newest prog sounds. He loves meeting like-minded people and enjoying live music at a concert somewhere in Europe.
