First band announced for ProgPower Europe 2027: BENTHOS
We’re kicking off the ProgPower Europe 2027 band announcements with Benthos, the Milan-based five-piece pushing the boundaries of progressive metal.
Blending progressive metal, mathcore, post-hardcore, jazz fusion and psychedelia, Benthos create a sound that refuses to sit still. Their 2021 debut, “II“, introduced their adventurous and experimental approach, but it was their 2025 album, “From Nothing“, released through InsideOutMusic, that truly brought their vision into focus.
Since their conception, Benthos have taken their boundary-defying sound across Europe and the UK, captivating audiences with performances that shift from hypnotic passages to exhilarating chaos. Expect unpredictable twists, intricate musicianship and a live experience that keeps you guessing. A long time awaited band at Sjiwa Baarlo! Yes! Benthos are coming to ProgPower Europe 2027!
