Esthesis premiere atmospheric, new single and video: “The Frame”
French Post / Progrock project Esthesis already released 2 full-length albums (2022, 2020), both available on beautifully crafted editions on French independent label Misty Tones. Between cinematic atmospheres, art rock experiments and sharp riffs, Esthesis’ music takes their listeners on a melancholic journey through airy and powerful compositions, with industrial and progressive touches.
With their new single ‘The Frame’, they invite us to reflect on our modern world, evoking themes such as alienation, and the feeling of being trapped in one’s own life and routine. The song is taken from their upcoming album “Out Of Step”, which is set to release on 3rd October 2025.
“‘The Frame’ was the last track to be written for the new album “Out Of Step” and, paradoxically, the first to be chosen for a single. It’s a song that best represented our past influences and what we’re trying to express with this new album. It’s a cinematic song that deals about being trapped in a routine and our relationship with the modern world. Lyrically, the song points to the fact that more and more people feel out of step with society and invites people to “step outside the frame.”
