Rendezvous Point is the last band confirmed for ProgPower Europe 2026!
ProgPower Europe has completed its 2026 lineup with one final announcement. Norwegian progressive metal outfit Rendezvous Point will return to the festival, making their second appearance on the legendary Sjiwa stage after an acclaimed performance in 2022.
Since their formation in Oslo, Rendezvous Point have established themselves as one of Norway’s most exciting progressive metal acts. Blending technical precision with memorable melodies, soaring vocals and modern progressive influences, the band has built a sound that appeals equally to fans of intricate musicianship and emotionally driven songwriting.
Fronted by vocalist Geirmund Hansen and featuring drummer Baard Kolstad (Leprous), the band has released three highly regarded albums: “Solar Storm” (2015), “Universal Chaos” (2019) and “Dream Chaser” (2024). Each release has showcased the band’s continued evolution, combining powerful hooks with dynamic arrangements and an unmistakably modern approach to progressive metal.
Having already proven themselves at ProgPower Europe, Rendezvous Point return with an even stronger catalogue and a reputation as one of the most compelling live bands in the Scandinavian progressive scene.
With the final act now confirmed, the lineup for ProgPower Europe 2026 is complete, promising another unforgettable weekend for progressive music fans.
