Changeling – Tour? What Tour? with Obsidian Tide + Guests
This November, progressive death metal Changeling will embark on their first European headline tour, “Tour? What Tour?“, bringing their ambitious and genre defying sound to 13 cities across Europe. Joining them for the entire run are progressive melodic death metallers Obsidian Tide, with a rotating selection of local support acts completing the bill at each stop.
Led by guitarist and producer Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschläger, Changeling is an all star progressive death metal project featuring members and alumni of acclaimed bands including Obscura, Belphegor, Alkaloid and Fear Factory. Signed to Season of Mist in 2024, the band blends technical death metal with jazz fusion, world music and orchestral arrangements, creating a sound that is as adventurous as it is heavy.
Supporting them are Obsidian Tide, who have been pushing the boundaries between progressive, death and post metal since forming in 2012. Following the release of their debut album “Pillars of Creation“ in 2019 and the critically praised “The Grand Crescendo” in 2023, the trio have built a reputation for captivating and energetic live performances across Europe.
