Costin Chioreanu painting live during Dordeduh show at ProgPower Europe

Dordeduh has announced a very special show with the renown artist Costin Chioreanu live painting on stage during their performance at ProgPower Europe on Saturday 7 October!

Highly acclaimed romanian artist Costin Chioreanu will be creating a painting in real time and shown on the LCD screens on stage!  The painting created during this exclusive and unique show will be available for sale at the band’s merch stand, after the show. Costin Chioreanu specialized in Graphic Design with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree at the National University of Arts, in Bucharest. In 2003 started his graphic studio, TWILIGHT 13 MEDIA, covering all types of artistic expression translating music into images, from covers, posters, merchandise design to filmed or animated videos, live DVD’s, or full concert screenings. He has collaborated with a long list of bands and artists in a wide range of genres in rock and metal, like Jethro Tull, Ghost, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Soulfly, Leprous, At the Gates, Ulver, Enslaved, Carcass, My Dying Bride, Wardruna, Paradise Lost, Psychotic Waltz, Soen, Green Carnation among many others.

Despite his powerful and easily recognisible visual identity, his wide range of styles goes easily from decorative touches to abstract principles, from traditional black ink illustrations or watercolour and acrylic paintings to photo manipulations and collages. He intertwines all these visual mediums in order to produce unique visual interpretations of the music he works with, taking the realm of the prog, rock and metal artwork to a deeper level. Besides his daily creative work, the newest artistic endeavor he developed is the live painting appearances together with the bands he loves, and this time will be the special performance with Dordeduh at ProgPower Europe 2023.
