Framing Skeletons premiere epic new longtrack Avalanches

The Progspace Online Festival Alumni Framing Skeletons are back, just about a year after their massive third album “Misery Prelude: The Prince Eternal”, with a brand new stand-alone longtrack. The Texas based Progressive Metal trio once again runs the full gamut from fierce and brutal extreme riffing to more melodic and even whimsical passages on “Avalanches” – and tell a compelling story while they’re at it. Drummer/composer Bryan Holub weighs in:

‘Avalanches’ is a 18-minute track I wrote about child alienation. It’s based on a true story from a friend of our’s who shared it with us and I found it not only tragic, but inspiring. This journey portrays the agony of having your child taken away from you, but pushes a hopeful message as well.

Check out ‘Avalanches’ right here, out on all streaming platforms and Bandcamp from Friday, Aug. 08:

Dario

Co-Founder of The Progspace - Dario discovered the world of Prog upon hearing "Shine on you crazy diamond" for the first time at the tender age of 12 around the turn of the millennium. Coming from a musical family and brought up with classical music, this seemed to be the logical next step. Attended the school of www.progulus.com from 2002, delving into both directions: catching up with the history of already more than 30 years of progressive music as well as always staying up to date with the newest prog sounds. He loves meeting like-minded people and enjoying live music at a concert somewhere in Europe.
