Steve Hackett: Genesis Revisited in Warsaw, 17 March 2022

Steve Hackett was the guitarist of Genesis, one of the most important progressive rock bands ever, and has been a guiding influence for musicians and guitarists for over 40 years. Hackett does his own support act during this tour with his own solo work followed by a short break. After that, we witnessed the full performance of Genesis' live album "Seconds Out" (1977). It was their last musical offering featuring Steve before his departure that same year. Steve Hackett and his superb band play each and every piece of this peerless live album with deep reverence and spirited vigour. His band's touring lineup includes top-class musicians Roger King (keyboards), Jonas Reingold (bass, backing vocals), Nad Sylvan (vocals), Rob Townsend (saxophone, flutes, additional keyboards) and Craig Blundell (drums). The highlights of the evening can be guessed: 'Firth Of Fifth' brings everyone into ecstasy and 'Supper's Ready' once again proves itself as the magnum opus of Genesis. The encore with 'Dance On A Volcano' and 'Los Endos' sends everyone home satisfied.
