Volubilis premiere second single Le Flamboiement Stellaire
Canada and Tech Death go together like France and wine. Please meet Volubilis, the newest star on the Canadian Tech Death firmament. Their second single ‘Le Flamboiement Stellaire’ has got everything Candian Tech Death needs: blistering guitar leads, fretless bass, blast beats and, of course, a cosmic/sci-fi story. And it even has French lyrics, how cool is that? So keep your eyes peeled for the release of their debut album “Theasterion” on July 10th if you’re digging this Stellar Blaze!
The opening track sets the stage for the sci-fi epic that is Theasterion. Fast-paced and intricate, it features innovative use of each note in its melodies. It is the only track with French lyrics, and its narrative describes the genesis of the album’s concept on the Satellite, the prophecy, the coup d’état and the mercenaries fleeing to embark on their reconnaissance mission on Theasterion.
