No Terror in the Bang presents cinematic video for “Monster”

No Terror in the Bang is a progressive and cinematic metal six-piece from Rouen, France, whose sound illustrates a chiaroscuro universe oscillating between fragility and fury. Our reviewer Bob awarded their new, second album “Heal” a whopping 9/10 in our first review of the year, and now we’re happy to present a brand video for the track ‘Monster’ in this exclusive premiere!

Crammed with unusual musical twists and turns, the band’s second album “Heal” shows a different level of balance and composure than their previous album “Eclosion”, which surprised fans with its dichotomy between heavy rhythms and triumphant cinematic orchestrations.  Featuring ten new tracks, “Heal”is a more brutal effort where vocalist Sofia Bortoluzzi uses her full vocal range, shifting between passionate, melodic cleans and some brutal growls.

Drummer/Orchestrator Alexis Damien weighs in:

We are proud to present the video for “Monster” off our new album “Heal” and is one of the band’s most progressive and contrasting tracks. It features melodic orchestral passages and violent riffs.
The video was inspired by the original Little Red Riding Hood tale.
The clip was shot in original locations in Normandy, including an old cider mill, a wasteland and a forest.

Here’s ‘Monster’:

Dario

Co-Founder of The Progspace - Dario discovered the world of Prog upon hearing "Shine on you crazy diamond" for the first time at the tender age of 12 around the turn of the millennium. Coming from a musical family and brought up with classical music, this seemed to be the logical next step. Attended the school of www.progulus.com from 2002, delving into both directions: catching up with the history of already more than 30 years of progressive music as well as always staying up to date with the newest prog sounds. He loves meeting like-minded people and enjoying live music at a concert somewhere in Europe.
