There is a lot to unpack in this album, but that makes it all the more rewarding and amazing to listen to. It’s a more than worthy addition to an impressive streak of albums.
It’s hard for me to pinpoint what exactly makes their music work so well and hook me almost instantly, but I would say there is no secret ingredient, rather a very meticulous and cleverly orchestrated balance between the various elements they have to offer.
“The End of Noise” is clearly a strong progressive metal release with both emotional and creative value.
In my eyes “Meandering soul” is a rare gem – surprisingly diverse, yet very coherent and well put together.
