Evulsion’s debut record, “Spiritual Putrefaction” has one job to do and it does it exceptionally well. It slaps!
If you want to lower the stress levels and set a good vibe, this album should be among your top choices. “Sirin” sounds like scented candles smell. It’s auditory wholesomeness at its finest.
It doesn’t take itself too seriously, but at the same time there isn’t a moment where the silliness overtakes and feels too much. Everything is well balanced, which makes this EP so enjoyable and the perfect “entrée” for the new listeners.
The iconic sound is still there, and the songs are still very catchy, but the composition seems less riff-driven, and many of the songs come across more mellow and vulnerable.
