It’s hard to beat great vocals and stunningly dexterous guitar playing backed up by a solid rhythm section. There are no doubt reasons why they have only produced two albums in 14 years. I hope the next one will be released before too long. If it’s as good as “Manifesto,” it will be well worth waiting for.
Swedes from “PreHistoric Animals” once again showcased their talents in songwriting and genre mixing to create a remarkable love story in sci-fi setting.
Well, what can I say? This is a stunner of a debut album. I can’t help thinking that these guys are perfect for festivals such as Progpower Europe. I would certainly welcome a chance to see them live. What have the Romans ever done for us? Need you ask? It goes without saying that I am looking forward very much to future works from them.
The promising American trio Haishen released their debut full-length album, and it’s taking us to the depths of the sea, with intriguing musical and lyrical ideas. Very remarkable record, unique enough to turn heads.

ProgRock Fest in Legionowo (a Polish city near Warsaw) is since 2015 an annual indoor festival for prog rock lovers. The festival is not of an order of magnitude to attract the big (foreign) names. But in previous editions names such as Galahad, Collin bass, Mystery and the David Cross Band were on the list. This year it was a complete Polish affair.
Jaak visited INO-ROCK Festival 2023 in Poland and captured the best moments on his camera. The international and varied lineup this year included Soen – With Orchestra (Sweden), David Cross Band (United Kingdom), Collage (Poland), Long Distance Calling (Germany), Here on Earth (Poland)
Diablo Swing Orchestra delivered a hell of a colorful show at De Helling, Utrecht! What a fun on stage and off stage we all had, and they don’t cease to amaze us with their incredible musicianship and vocal prowess!

Norwegian pop prog rock darlings Meer took their exquisit music to the stage at Haugaland Prog & Rock Festival 2022 in Haugesund. Despite having to shorten their set, they delivered a magnific headliners show closing this relatively unknown and small but excellent festival.
With a trilogy 30 years in the making, The Chronicles of Father Robin presented their amazing music, mixing folk, prog, rock and metal in a musical journey only they can master. With members from renown norwegian prog bands Wobbler, Tusmørke, Samuel Jackson Five & Jordsjø, they did impress everyone in the audience!
